How do you store/organize/care for your shoes so that they stay brand new?

Do you spray them with something to protect them?
Do you wipe them off or wash them after every use?
Do you store them in a clear shoe box to protect them from the air, dust, etc?

I keep my leather shoes polished and conditioned, and I use cedar shoe trees to maintain their shape. If I had them, I'd use cloth shoe bags to keep the dust off of them, but I just brush them off with a soft horsehair brush before I wear them.

Other shoes are simply allowed to dry out before I wear them again- sweat and such leads to stinky shoes if not allowed to dry completely. That's why it's good to have two or three pairs of shoes to rotate through.

wisemanj 		Here are some good tips that work for me!

Keep them in a shoe box when you're not using them.
Wipe them off gently after every use.
Buy proper care products for the material of the shoes.
Be careful where you step if they are expensive shoes or shoes with material that is difficult to clean if they get dirty. Watch for scuffs!
